The diet emphasizes rice as the main staple of the plan. It was observed that people, who ate a <a title="weight loss food" href="http://fast-diet.org/weight-loss-food">diet of foods</a> where rice was consumed on a regular basis, enjoyed a life with few instances of hypertension, stroke, or diabetes. The participants eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, fish and of course, rice.</p>
<p>Portion size is regulated so that patients learn how to eat and what is normal for serving sizes. <a title="loose fat" href="http://fast-diet.org/loose-fat">Fat</a> and salt consumption are kept <a title="low calorie diet" href="http://fast-diet.org/low-calorie-diet">low</a>. Patients are shown how to season food with spices other than salt. <p>So, what is the Cabbage Soup (Mayo Clinic) Diet?</p>

<p>As a whole, I do not recommend this diet because it is not very healthy, and healthier diets exist.</p>
<p>The Rice Diet is a much better choice; however, the Rice Diet was not created for everyday people who are just looking to drop a <a title="lose pounds" href="http://fast-diet.org/lose-pounds">few pounds</a>.</p>
