To help you on this front, I am suggesting below some of the measures that will help you to eat only recommended diets:

1. Choose a diet plan that suits your individual lifestyle.  Choose a doable but healthy diet plan.

2. Make regular visit to your nutritionist or doctor.

3. Incorporate some foods containing satiety power in diet plan.

4. Define your ‘Goal’ i.e. how much weight you want to loose.

5. Set a realistic time period for achieving this Goal.

6. Break down the determined ‘Outcome Goal’ into small and easily manageable outcomes just like developing the habit of performing exercise and eating right.

7. Selection of right DIY exercise plan also improves the results of your selected diet plan.

8. Say no to unhealthy but tasty meals. You will have to make some sacrifice to shed excess weight.

9. Eat slowly in regular sized portions. Drink plenty of water after every meal.

10. Try to be stress free because stresses adversely affect your body functions in many ways.

11. Monitor the outcome on regular basis and if necessary make the amendments in your life style and meal schedule with the help of nutritionist or doctor.

Frugal Dieting Tips – How To Diet Frugally

Executive Summary about how to diet by frugalesther

1) It’s all about the calories.  Yeah, I know, some people count carbs, some count fat, whatever.  It’s all about the calories.  When you eat less carbs, the idea is that you’re not as hungry so you don’t eat as much.  So, you’re basically consuming less calories.  When you eat less fat, you’re eating healthier and the idea is that you’re not as hungry, so you eat less.  Again, you’re consuming less calories.  Once you know it’s all about the calories, it makes dieting so much easier.

2) You have to know how much you’re eating in order to know how much you need to eat to lose.  So, write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink for 7 days.  I mean EVERYTHING – even if it’s just a glass of water.  At the end of 7 days, get an average of the number of calories you eat each day.

3) In order to begin losing weight, you need to reduce your caloric intake by 500 calories per day.  So, if your average is 2000 calories per day, then you need to reduce it to 1500 calories per day.

4) Here’s the hard part – actually measuring what you eat.

5) If you have a very hard time with portions for some reason, the first week of your diet, purchase frozen meals for every meal you eat.  Save the containers – they’ll help you portion your own meals.

6) Don’t eat just once or twice a day – that’s truly the worst thing you can do.  I eat 6 times a day.  And my caloric count to lose weight is 1200 calories.  So, I eat 200 calories at each meal.

7) If you can exercise, do it!!!  Here’s a quick and easy calorie burning calculator to help you get an idea of what it takes.  Just to give you an idea – I weight around 130 lbs – if I did 30 minutes of water aerobics I would burn 117 calories.  If I walked at a pace of 2 miles an hour for 60 minutes, I would burn 164 calories.

Once you’ve hit your goal weight you can easily maintain it!  It’s recommended by Frugal Mom and it’s really a great way to cook, freeze and eat!!!
